Inspired by an iconic Ralph Lauren dress from the '80s, the Whitley is designed with an engineered pleated construction, which releases beautifully toward the hem to create a subtle A-line skirt. Crafted in Italy, this style's fabric is made with highly twisted crepe yarns for a modern drape and substantial weight, and features a satin weave finish in the interior for a soft feel against the skin. Its detachable Peter Pan collar is hand-embroidered by five specialised technicians using a hand-machine technique to produce a macramé lace effect. A self-belt with a petite square-shaped buckle creates definition at the waist.

- UK size 12 has a 119.4 cm body length and a 62.2 cm sleeve length. Dress length is taken from the high point of the shoulder and changes 0.6 cm between sizes. Sleeve length changes less than 0.63 cm between sizes.
- Rounded neckline. Concealed buttoned placket with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons and a snapped closure at the neck. Detachable lace Peter Pan collar.
- Long sleeves with buttoned pleated barrel cuffs. Genuine mother of pearl buttons.
- Pleated construction. Threaded belt loops. Comes with a buckled self-belt. Hook-and-eye closure on the interior waist.
- Shell and belt front: 58% viscose, 42% acetate. Belt back: 100% leather. Base for technique: 100% cotton. Decoration: 90% cotton, 10% polyester.
